Day one!

The first week of their trip is going great!! For the most part their travel went well, a few people lost luggage, but other than that they made it safe and all is on task. They have begun to teach in the school, it has been challenging but good. The teachers and classrooms have been a little demanding, and the team is starting to be tried and tested. But the Holy Spirit has been very involved in their work! The team as a whole is doing great, Judy broke her toe but is doing fine and Jeff has caught the stomach bug but it isn't stopping his work for the Lord. Pray for rest for the team. They are very tired (not discouraged) after day one. Jerrod is going to try to get a little shorter day tomorrow. Please pray also for team unity. Unity is strong now but could be weakened as members grow more tired. Everything is right on target as of now so please keep praying! Pictures should come soon!

I am so proud of you all. This is a tough thing, being so far from home and you are all doing such a wonderful thing for the ppl there. Remember to lean on one another but most importantly on the MAN ABOVE!!
I am thinking of all of you constantly!

In Him,
Amber

Heather, Drew, Jeff, Jonathan and Jerrod,
I hope by now you and the rest of the team are beginning to settle into a routine and are feeling more comfortable with your new surroundings. I hope you are feeling peace and strength. I am thinking of you every day and am excited to read another update from you soon.
Heather: The mailings continue from all over the state! ; )
Jerrod: We haven't messed things up in the C/YA group yet!

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring the good news.

Hearing great things about all of you. Hope the English classes are going well. Great to hear of the wonderful hospitality that has been extended by your hosts. I'm proud of all of you but I'm really proud of Jonathan for stepping out and pushing his limits. A good walk will take you were you want to go. Keep up the good work. Love ya.
