Hello Family!
Thank you for all of your thoughts while we have been here at camp. This has been a trip I think none of us will ever forget! The interesting food, crazy kids, and unpredictable weather are all creating for us a very fulfilling experience. I believe few of us had an idea of what to expect from this rich culture.
Day one was very interesting for us. Everyone from children to elderly people were astonished, curious, and bewildered as they saw the white Americans on campus! They sat and gazed as we walked across the stage to take a seat and give a presentation of what we had to offer to their culture. With every eye watching, it seemed like they waited in anticipation of every move we made! Uncertainty awaited us as we questioned the food and the attitudes of our students were going to be teaching.
Today is day four of camp and day eight of our journey. Most of us have become very accustomed to this way of life. Washing clothes is awesome without a washing machine! Wait, I’m lying. It stinks! We are reminded of what great things we have at home that we take for granted. He has shown us so much of how selfish we can be and what a blessing it is just to be alive and breathing. Thank Him often!
We are thankful of the company back home and your thoughts. We are also thankful for the unity we’ve had, healing of Judy’s toe, the relationships we have built, and the day by day successes with the natives we have met.
We ask that you think of us often in concerns to Jonathon’s health, continued unity among team members, joy when we meet various trials so that it will make for us endurance, Heather’s back problems, and wisdom and discernment for our team leader.
Thanks again for your continued thoughts…
East Asia Team

Hello to you Family!!!
I am thrilled to hear about the joy and lessons you are being taught through Dad! Wow! Everyone is missing you all here. This is obvious to me through reading the posts on the blog.
The bond being created between the team is one that you all should hold onto when you arrive back home to us. Do not allow the enemy to cause doubt or mistrust. Know that Dad is in control and that it is all going to work out. We are called to be lights among the nations and whether you are aware of it or not you are burning brightly!
Johnathen- Hang in there. I am going to specifically be thinking of you.
Praise Dad for the healing of the hurt toe and for Jeff's recovery.
Heather- My thoughts go out to you as well with the hurt back.
Drew--Hope you are doing well. I just thought I would tell you hello.
Jerrod- Be strong and know that Dad will help you to trust him in what he is doing through the group. Know that when we show Dad that we trust him, he will bless us. Think about when Abraham was told to sacrifice his only son....he trusted and things prevailed for the good in the end. Remember that your love for people and youth is something unique. What is it that you always say is the most important thing? To love up on the kids. They will see Dad through you. Do not loose trust in that. It is all of you, the team, that is going to be Dad for this group of ppl.
Keep your chins up and be strong.

Hey you all!
I am leaving town and I may not have a chance to check this blog or write you again. I just want to tell you once again how proud I am of yall. I can only imagine what you are feeling right now. I understand that a few of you may start feeling homesick soon so I want to encourage you to lean on Dad and one another more now then ever.
