It is day three of our second camp and I believe most of us are naturally feeling tired! After 14 days in East Asia and eight days of teaching students, it’s evident that some of us are exhausted. It is good though. We are reminded that it is ok to be tired but to rely on a greater source. Joy is something we are finding after various trials we have seen.Of course our testing is producing endurance. This has been the most common factor in this camp. If you were to ask any one of our team members about their opinion of this camp, most would probably tell you that there is a feeling of distance between the students, teachers, and us. Though we are not quite sure of the reason, we remember that our Dad is in always in control and our definition of success doesn’t come from outer appearance. Be thinking for us that there would be divine appointments to meet with folks.
We are thankful that you have been thinking of us. Also think of the students and teachers. Think that they would be warm and connective to our teachers. One of the teachers we have met has a father that is currently dealing with a heart condition. Another person we have become very close to has a lot coming up on their plate as far has their role is concerned. Be thinking for all of those as well. Think of Jeff’s stomach problems. Think of our team leader, Jerrod, for wisdom and clear discernment. Also he may also have a case of stress related shingles. Be thinking for us in areas of patience and the attacks we have been receiving. May we persevere…
We praise our Dad for the incredible weather we have had here! The temperature hasn’t risen above 75. Also for the confidence Trichelle, Jon, and Drew have had in the classrooms. Everyone is being stretched farther than they thought possible. Dad is good…

Again, we are so incredibly thankful for your thoughts towards us…

The East Asia Team

The photos sure brought home the height difference. Don't forget to come down to their eye level, it is so much less intimidating. (I wonder who taught us that first?) -Love- Aunt Sheron
Hay Jon how is it up there. The kids most love you. Has the teaching become easer then it was on the first day? I pray it has for the whole team. How is Jerrad, I have prayed the stress will go away. Get some rest

Hey Jonathan, I really haven't forgotten you....just got signed up on google recently...you know me and something new on a computer!! Been thinking of you and the team all the time. Guess you are done teaching and about ready to travel home. Am so excited to hear about all those teaching experiences. Did you ever get used to Chinese food? Please give my warm regards and thoughts to the rest of the team. See you soon. Love, Mom
Hey, All! It's always encouraging to read good things from your posts. Jeffery, I hope you feel better so very soon. AND Jerrod, Take heart...I am confident that He is working successfully through you and the rest of the team. Hope things continue to go well for each of y'all.

I just now am able to get a strong internet signal. I was thrilled to see the two new posts and pictures. I know that everyone is tired and being tested beyond what they ever thought they could be. Know that you are in my constant thoughts and that i think about you all constantly. Your team is such a blessing.
